THE THING ITSELF
From
the Science of Mind: If we try to find something difficult to
grasp, then we shall never grasp it, because we shall always think of It
as being incomprehensible. The mind which we discover within us
is the Mind that governs everything. This is The Thing Itself,
and we should recognize its simplicity.
There is
only One Mind, that Mind Is God, and that Mind Is My Mind Now ... always
and forever. All Is God and All Is Mind. That is why the
Master Teacher Jesus stated, "it is done unto you as you
believe." Since we can only believe with our Mind, then Mind
is the Doer Unto Us .. the Doer of the mundane and the Doer of the
miraculous and marvelous.
(Science of Mind) It is necessary that we remember that we live in two
worlds at the same time, the invisible world of cause where thoughts and
ideas are the creators and the material world of effect where the
results or manifestations of our thoughts and ideas come into being.
As we understand that we live in two worlds, we
can understand that the Invisible world is Infinite. My thoughts
and my ideas are not limited unless I choose to "think" in a
limited nature. In my mind I can "think" myself into
great success, prosperity and living a life of luxury. There is no
limit imposed on me ... my limits are self-imposed.
(Science of Mind) What is the mind?
No man living knows. We know a great deal about the mind, but
not what it is. By mind, we mean consciousness. We are
now using it. We cannot locate mind in the body, for, while the
body is a necessary vehicle for consciousness while we are here, it is
not consciousness. We cannot isolate mind. All we know about
it is not what it is, but what it does, and the greatest
philosopher who ever lived knows no more than this ... except that he
may tell us more of how it works.
How is Mind involved in Prayer? ...
was one of my first questions when I began my initial studies of the
Science of Mind. From the Science of Mind: Since some
people have been healed through prayer, while others have not, the
answer is NOT that God has responded to some and not to others (Jesus
said that God "maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good,
and sendeth the rain on the just and the unjust." Matthew
5:45) ... but that some have responded to
God more than others. Their prayer (their thought) has responded
by corresponding. The answer to prayer is in the prayer. But
what is prayer? A prayer is a movement of thought, within the mind
of the one praying, along a definite line of meditation; that is, for a
specific purpose.
God, the One Mind, the Thing Itself ...
that which Is Cause .. has seemingly appeared beyond our grasp ...
something or someone that we must convince, must beg and supplicate to
.... but It is not beyond ... It Is this "Indwelling
Spirit" or as Jesus stated so clearly, "the Father and I are
One" ... not two, not separate and apart ... One .... yet
Infinite .... so as we Open Our Mind To The
Infinite ... releasing all thoughts of limitation, we will find
ourselves Standing At The Doorway Of Infinity .....Infinite Good,
Infinite Abundance, Infinite Love ... infinitely more than we have
experienced in the past.
And
So It Is!

Love Use Me In Its Own Good Way,
