Look
at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into
barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more
value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to
his span of life? -- Mathew 6:26-27
Jesus was so in tune with the Christ
Consciousness within Him that even His most simple, direct teachings
were profound. Unfortunately, even as simple as they were, the
world has yet to truly understand how to make these simple teachings a
part of our daily life experiences. Hundreds of books, magazines,
articles and seminar-speakers have taken these simple teachings and
given them their own individual spin ... but all Truth comes back to the
teachings of Jesus ... and He didn't charge $80.00 for a seminar to
teach these principles ... why? ... because He understood that His life
was sustained and maintained by the Infinite Good, God .... and as He
was willing to give ... accordingly He would receive .. and He
did. He did not worry about it.
I believe the
"cause" of most of our anxiety and stress can be attributed to
our unwillingness to give ... without thought of return ... and our
unwillingness to "give up" our own self-centered ideas of what
is Good and what is not. Too many of us are so busy telling God
what we want ... that we forget to be grateful for what we have.
Pharmaceutical companies are making billions of dollars off the anxiety
and stress of the masses .. and most of what we are anxious and stressed
out about is our own "self-inflicted nonsense." We are
too stubborn and unwilling to "let go and let God" work in our
lives ... we want an instant transformation of our circumstances and
conditions in life without changing who we are! And "Who We
Are" is the sum total of our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves
and the world we live in. We must give up attempting to
"control the Universe" and let the Universe support us in our
Good. Most of us walk around worried about something ..... and
this "worrying" creates more to be worried about.
Christmas
is about celebrating the Life of Jesus ... but the most important gift
each of us can give ourselves and others is to "practice" His
teachings. "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his
life?" He asked. We cannot bring more happiness, health or
prosperity in our life by worrying ... what we sow we shall reap ...
worry reaps worry. So to paraphrase the words of Jesus,
"Don't worry. Be happy." "BE" is the key
word .... cultivate a sense of "BE-ING HAPPY" ... BE
HAPPY!!
And
So It Is!

Love Use Me In Its Own Good Way,
