"I
expect lavish abundance every day in every way in my life and affairs.
I specifically expect and give thanks for lavish abundance today."

Catherine Ponder, Dynamic Laws of Prosperity
Life always gives us back what we
"give" to It. And this includes all things in our life;
our work, our health, our relationships and our prosperity.
Whatever we "give" through our words, our thoughts and the
ideas that we hold about a thing ... becomes the thing for us. And
this is true for our finances as much as it is true for anything else.
We have a relationship with our financial prosperity. But, often
it is not a faithful relationship. For many of us it is a
desperate relationship, or at the least a "strained"
relationship.
From Deepak Chopra: "The
possibility of stepping into a higher plane is quite real for everyone.
It requires no force or effort or sacrifice. It involves little more
than changing our ideas about what is normal."
Nothing changes until our "attitude about
it" changes ... and our attitude about it does not change until we
change the ideas that bind us to the condition. This is why the
Master Mind Jesus stated, "For
unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance:
but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he
hath." In other words, Deepak
Chopra is stating the same thing ... we must change our ideas about our
prosperity if we want to live on a higher plane of prosperity
consciousness.
Too many people are too easily
"convinced" that they do not have a "prosperity
consciousness." But, this is not Truth. We are "in
God and of God" ... and God does
not lack a prosperity consciousness and neither do we.
It is our inherent nature to be prosperous ... to embody abundant
living. And so our work is not to develop a prosperity
consciousness, but to "reveal" our prosperity consciousness.
Each experience that we have that contains the "appearance of
lack" ... is but our opportunity to "reveal" our
prosperity consciousness. We are called to do this, for to deny
our prosperity consciousness is to deny God within us.
I know some of you are going to ask; if we have
a prosperity consciousness then why do we experience lack? A
simple way to understand why, is to think of a mirror covered in dust
... if you look in the mirror you cannot see a clear reflection because
it is covered with dust ... but if we clean off the dust, the clear
reflection is revealed. This is what we must do to reveal our
prosperity consciousness. We must realize that our beliefs,
thoughts and ideas about it, have blocked it from demonstrating normally
and naturally as abundant living. Our accumulated "dust"
so to speak, are the words, thoughts, and ideas that have covered up our
acceptance of our prosperity consciousness. Words like, "I
don't have the money," or "I can't afford it," deny our
prosperity consciousness. In Truth we always "have what we
need when we need it" ... and if we don't ... then it is not ours
to have. It is just this simple. And we will find that as we
keep faith with our prosperity consciousness, the things that we do not
buy, or the things we do not do because we have not demonstrated the
money to do them ... pass from our memory very quickly. But, our
recognition of our prosperity consciousness will never fail to benefit
us.
As we work with affirmations and always
remember that we have a prosperity consciousness already, we can say
with Catherine Ponder, "I
expect lavish abundance every day in every way in my life and affairs.
I specifically expect and give thanks for lavish abundance today."
As
we speak these words of affirmation, we must always be mindful that we
are speaking not only of that which is ours that we see, but that we are
speaking of the Un-seen Good that awaits our recognition of it.
Words
are powerful when we have the consciousness that backs them up ... and
we do! And as we remember that we have a "prosperity
consciousness" ... our words take on authority that support the
life we want to live. Our
fidelity to our prosperity consciousness, when we face seeming
overwhelming obstacles, empowers us to "reveal" more of it ...
in a more powerful way. In Truth our fidelity to our prosperity
consciousness is fidelity to God, the Good.
AND
SO IT IS!
Keep
the faith!
