Archived Messages

"Let your Light so shine ...." the Master Mind Jesus instructed us.  "Do not hide your Light under a bushel..." He admonished.  What the Great Metaphysician was telling us is that we are here to "magnify God" .... to demonstrate our faith in the Great Infinite Unseen Presence and Power of the Almighty.  The Rebel Jesus went on to say ..."I of mine own-self can do nothing."  The Light that we are to "let" Shine is the Light of God .... Shining through us!

             So many of us walk around hiding in our small-ness so that we won't shake anybody up .... or have people think we have a big ego .... but Dr. Holmes the Great Founder of Religious Science tells us.... "either you are believing that It Is or you are believing that It Is not ..." Either we believe that we are expressing the Life of God or we are believing something else.  But the something else is truly not believable .. God Is Life .... Life Lives ... Life Lives As Me .... check it out again.... "I of mine own-self can do nothing...."  It is Life living me ... the Light of God Shining through me ... this Light keeps my heart beating .... keeps me breathing even when I am asleep and opens my eyes each morning by animating my body into activity.

           In Religious Science we know that God is the Spirit within each of us.  Dr. Holmes understood this clearly for He understood what Jesus meant when He said. "Let your Light so Shine."  The Master Mind Jesus knew that each and every one of us already has this Light within us ... but it is up to us to "let it shine!"  He didn't say... IF - YOU HAVE THIS LIGHT, LET IT SHINE ... He said, "LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE."  

           WE "HAVE" IT .... LET'S "USE" IT .... LET'S NOT HIDE IT ANYMORE .... not even for one more second!  NOW IS THE TIME .... LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE ..... Let It Shine on those who need your Compassion .... Let It Shine on those who need your Love ..... Let It Shine on those who need your understanding .... Let It Shine in your work .... Let It Shine in your marriages and your relationships .... Let It Shine in your family affairs ...  Let It Shine in your Health ... Let It Shine in your Finances ... Let It Shine in your Dreams and Aspirations ... 

         SEE YOURSELF AS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!!  KNOW THAT THIS LIGHT IS GOD SHINING THROUGH YOU!!  SHINE ... SHINE .... SHINE ... UNTIL YOU CAN'T STOP THE SHINE ..... 
                         
 And So It Is!
