morning I was discussing the Way To A Wonderful Life with my Associate
 Producer,
G. F. Castrop, and it became increasingly clear to me how very
important it is to understand that we have the power within us to do
great things. But so often, even though we know what to do, we
just don't do it .. instead, we fall back into the old habitual patterns
that prolong or hold us in the problem. I believe that this
happens primarily because most of us have yet to completely embody the
realization of God within..... if we "don't
go within, we go without." So, instead of getting
"still" and mentally going "within" our very own
consciousness to "reveal" the answers or the inspiration to
get "in the spirit" of solution,
we go deeper into the problem. There is absolutely nothing outside
of us that will ever help us or save us that is not within our very own
consciousness. God does not give us anything
that we cannot handle ... not now.....not ever!
When we close the gap on the separation from Truth in our mind, we begin
to reveal a greater truth for ourselves than we have ever imagined.
We have the power to move from depression and despair to hope and
inspiration; from loneliness to loving companionship and friendships,
from illness to health, from failure to victory... but we must
understand that the power is within us. "He
that is within me, is greater than that which is in the world,"...
Jesus called this the Father within and in Religious Science we know
this is the Spirit that Indwells us ... closer to us than breathing,
nearer than hands and feet ....... only in our thoughts, ideas and
beliefs can we be separate and apart from our Good.. from God.
As I recognize that as I move, God moves with me
and that all activity is God-activity, then
I can call forth from within myself Divine guidance and direction.
God is not just with us when we sit in prayer... but is always Present.
Everything that we do, every action that we take we are acting in
Omnipresence. All Presence.... All-ways Present ..... present in
our thoughts of victory and present in our thoughts of defeat ....
always waiting for us to choose ... and acting with us on whatever
choice we make. If we choose defeat... we
can have it.... if we choose victory ... we can have it.... but the
choice is always ours. But........... we can't choose
victory one moment and 5 minutes later entertain thoughts of despair and
defeat ..... this is demonstrating confusion or a stand-still in our
consciousness. We must be persistent and consistent in our
recognition that God is Omnipresent; that Good is Always Present and
available.
Now.... we go a step further... it is not enough to just see ourselves
as victorious, successful, prosperous, healthy and happy.... we must
also see beyond the appearances and behaviors of other people and see
them in the same way. Why? Because, if we accept the
possibility of failure, limitation or hopelessness in others in our
consciousness we open the door for the possibility to manifest in our
own experience. We must affirm in all that we do, all that we see,
that the Spiritual Perfection is the Truth that lies Unseen behind all
appearances that are contradictory to the All-Good, All-God......
Omnipresence:
Matthew 7:3 - Why do you
see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log
that is in your own eye?
Luke goes a step further:
Luke 6:41 - Why
do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice
the log that is in your own eye?
Luke 6:42 - Or
how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take out the speck
that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in
your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and
then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your
brother's eye.
I think this makes my point..... we are always only "seeing what we
are believing" regardless of who or what we "see" it in
... and in whatever manner we are seeing and believing we are
"doing unto ourselves." No matter
what we see or hear that may appear to be "wrong" let's don't
go with it ........ by agreeing with it ... let's agree with the Truth,
the Invisible Good ... in every situation, every conversation, every
condition and every person that we see .... for this is the Truth that
sets us free!
And
So It Is!
