"I,
I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior.
I
declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and
you are my witnesses," says the LORD. "I am God, and also
henceforth I am He; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work and who
can hinder it?" ... from the Book of Isaiah, Holy Bible
"Stay
with the ONE and never deviate from It, never leave It for a moment.
Nothing else can equal this attitude."
...
from Dr. Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind
One of
the "seemingly" most difficult metaphysical Principles to embody is
OMNIPRESENCE ... that God Is All and All Is God. Few people have ever
mastered this Principle to any great degree and if we did, believe me, the
world would know who we are. Like all metaphysical principles, this
Principle must un-fold within our consciousness ... and as we strive to be more
persistent in expanding our consciousness ... this Principle will un-fold in
greater measure in our experiences. Why? Because what we
"observe" we be-come. As we observe beauty in our world, our
thoughts and ideas follow the idea of beauty that we observe. The same
for loving-kindness ... joy and compassion. There is not one prosperity
book or instruction that does not advise us to "observe" the
prosperity and abundance that is evident in the world around us ... the reason
being is that as we "observe" it ... we be-come more prosperous and
accept greater abundance in our lives. It is only our focus on lack and
limitation that brings us into a greater state of poverty or financial
restriction.
When
we "observe" the Good; the beauty, the joy, the abundance, the
loving-kindness ... we are in Truth ... "observing God." We can
read in scripture, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is
stayed on Thee." It is a simple, yet profound, Principle. Keep
our mind "stayed on the Good" and we will find perfect peace with our
finances, our career success and our relationships. But ... we must act
on this Principle ... and refrain from the world's ideas of Good and something
else ... there is not God and something else ... there is only God ... All God,
All The Time ... even when our deepest human feelings and fears are attempting
to "cause" us to believe in something else ... that something else is
nothing-ness ... a no-thing ... an illusion of a mind that has been habitually
creating an acceptance of God and something else to the point that our mind
begins a demand on us to acknowledge the something else ... the nothing-ness.
We have created the something else ... it is not of God ... it is not Reality
... it is a creation derived from the concept of duality. If we see
seeming "evil" ... then we are separating God from the situation or
condition. Now, for many of us this is "DEEP" ... almost
"TOO DEEP" ... but it is the Truth in the Absolute ... and as we
train our minds to think closer and closer to the Absolute ... and transcend
our earth-bound conditions ... we become ever closer to the ONE ... God.
Separating
ourselves from each other ... separates us from God quicker than almost
anything. And we do it in so many ways ... rather than appreciate
our differences ... we want to make someone or something inferior or
superior. There is a title to a book, "What You Think of Me
Is None of My Business" ... that word "YOU" is
"self-defeating" ... there is no "you" ... there is
only me reflecting me back to me ... in other words ... It Is God ...
showing me what I think of myself ... out of loving-kindness so that I
may choose to change my thoughts and ideas about me. This is true
on an individual level as well as a on a Universal level ... we can look
at the world for proof of this Truth.
"As we create within
ourselves the ability to withhold love from others ... to justify our
judgments rather than accept All as God appearing in our lives ... we
create a separation from God that cannot be healed until we heal that
which we have created in our ignorance of the Omnipresence of God."
We must NEVER
allow arrogance or defensiveness to block us from Omnipresence. Always
remember ... arrogance and ignorance can be the same thing ... just spelled
differently. There is no shame in being ignorant of something that we do
not know ... someone once wrote, "we are ignorant until the day of
enlightenment." This is true for all of us.
We must insist that God Is Present in all things and in all people ...
creating a conviction in our minds ... and as we learn to accept that
God Is Present ... rather than believe ... out of fear ... that there is
something other than God ... Omnipresence will BE absolutely revealed
... in surprising and wonderful ways.
And
So It Is!
