"Jeremiah
23:24 "Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see
him? declares the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth?
declares the Lord."
- Holy Bible (English Standard
Version)
"Hoard up nothing. You will never come to want. Love of
Divine Omnipresence will make you to draw from the ends of the universe
things for your use. This is your heritage from the Principle of
Love: "The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord."
- Emma Curtis Hopkins, Spiritual
Author, Teacher and Prophet
When we find the Power of G-d working through us, that is through
our words, the images in our mind, and our thoughts, we are finding G-d
in our self. But, this is only a small measure of the G-d we shall
find within as we turn from the world and open our mind to that which is
All-Power. We cannot afford to gloss over the words of the Master
Mind Jesus when he stated that "the kingdom of heaven is within
you." And he could have gone further and stated ... and it
out-pictures in your life according to the Law of Sowing and Reaping ...
or cause and effect. But, far too many of us cannot take our
attention off the world long enough to fully realize this.
So many people still cling to the idea that we
must win G-d's favor in order to realize the Good that we seek to
experience, but this is simply a manipulation of the Truth perpetuated
by man. Too many of us are so consumed by our mistakes or the
seeming problems we are faced with, that we unconsciously waver in our
faith that there are solutions for us. Yet, all that G-d desires
from us is what we all desire from G-d and from each other ... Love ...
and this means our attention, our faith in It, and our trust and
confidence in G-d's ever-lasting Love for us. We must remember
that this Love is not passive ... it is active; i.e. attentiveness,
communion, listening and sharing.
When we daily go into the silence as a
spiritual practice, our affirmations, prayers, treatments, written and
spoken words, become powerfully aligned with Infinite Spirit. Keep
faith with these spiritual practices, as faith shall fulfill our
slightest wants and needs. Choose the spiritual practices that you
are comfortable with and be consistent in the use of them. During
our 6-Week Prosperity Series we looked at six practices that will open
our minds to the Good that is available to us and insure our success and
prosperity:
1) Affirmations ... a
wonderful example from the Bible is: "The Lord is my shepherd, I
shall not want." Affirmations are simple and specific to whatever
it is that we need at the moment: "G-d is so very, very good
to me" ... opens our mind to receiving that which is on our mind.
2) Dare to be Definite about Prosperity ... as we practice daily
writing out what it is that we want specifically, we create impressions
on our sub-conscious mind that attracts to us all things necessary for
these things to be made manifest.
3) Give And Be Given To ... give first the Master Mind Jesus
taught, but it is not what we give or the amount that we give that
matters, it is the obedience to the Law of Giving that will prosper us.
4) Keep Secret that which is between Us and G-d ... we don't want
to scatter the energy of our prayers and as the Master Mind Jesus
taught, we are to go in the "closet" and shut out the world as
we pray, and what G-d sees in secret, we will be rewarded with openly.
5) Blessings has Multiplying Power ... that which we bless
increases, but we must be conscious that we are blessing the increase as
well as what we have.
6) Spiritual Treatment along with Imagination ... using our
imagination to "see the results" of what we pray for adds a
powerful dynamic to our prayers. G-d has created us in Its image and
likeness and so we realize that our images are responded to by the
Creative Mind.
I often think of the words from the old gospel hymn;
"there is no secret what God can do ... what He's done for others,
He'll do for you"
... and in these simple words there is a powerful, universal
Truth, that G-d and the Good are available to all of us. All we
must do is keep faith with G-d and not waver or doubt as we move through
the process of developing a greater consciousness of success,
prosperity, happiness and security ... in G-d. And we will loose
our doubts and worries as we spend time in the silence of our mind and
let in the communion with G-d that is so necessary for transforming our
consciousness. This does not mean to just sit in the silence,
although this is important too.
What I am suggesting is that
we take time out each day to turn off the television, radio, computer,
telephones, cell phones and stop all conversation for a specific period
of time ... and just do what we do in the silence.
Be attentive to G-d within us. Brother
Lawrence proved that this silent communion will bring us peace with the
conditions of our life ... hope for that which we desire to experience
... and trust in the responsiveness of the Infinite. There really
is no secret what G-d can do ... but we must let G-d work through us and
for us.
AND
SO IT IS!
Keep
the faith!
